Welcome back! Students who's parents have filled out the form as bilingual speaking when you registered your child means they will be taking the NYSESLAT this week.(For more info on NYSESLAT please refer to school blog) Homework packets are due back. This is a busy month as students will be leading the Mass on May 29,2014 I will be sending home reading material for students who will be reading at the Mass this week.

Week of 4/7-4/11
Reminders
Dismissal Thursday April 10,2014 at 12:00 noon for Parent/Teacher conference from 2:00pm thru 7:00pm sharp. Friday April11,2014 dismissal at 11:00am and there will be NO AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM please make necessary arrangements. Easter Recess begins after dismissal on April 11 and school resumes on April 28,2014. Please bring disposable shopping bags as we will packing up the children's books to store in the classroom, students will not be taking their books home. No new sight words this week, we will be reviewing all the sight words learned up to this point, I urge you to review them on the vacation as well. Students will be taking home a packet of work to do over the vacation so that they are continuing to practice skills already taught. We are collecting canned food for the Lenten season, and we are also collecting pennies for patients for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, all until the end of this week. I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy vacation.
