I am still collecting $4.00 if you haven't already paid for the Halloween party on Thursday October 31, parents are welcomed to join us for the parade at 9:00am but must leave afterwards. Costume contest will be held at 1:00pm. Friday Mass of All Saints Day at 9:00am parents are welcomed to join us. Sight word assessment will be handed back please look and review with your child. Math Test Tuesday on counting and numbers 1-10. ELA test next week on listening comprehension.

Tomorrow Thursday if you wish to send your child with snack its optional. The 7th and 8th grade will have a bake sale to raise funds for graduation, please send you child with at least $1.00 to purchase something for the bake sale. Please remember to send your child with a basket or bag to collect treats during the Halloween parade. No homework will be assigned Thursday.

Reminders
Sight Word assessment this week on all the sight words previously given. Math test next week on numbers and counting within numbers 1-10. I will be collecting $4.00 for a halloween party on Thursday October 31. Students will be able to wear costumes on this day, a costume contest will be held for the best costume. Scholastic book order forms were sent home if you are interested in ordering you may do so online with the class code RWV88 or send the order form back by November 15, if you place your order online just let me know so I can complete the order.

Reminders
Wednesday October 16 Hispanic heritage celebration students are to wear nice dress clothes, parents welcome to join us at 10:00am. Friday October 18 will be class picture day for our class only, students should wear full dress uniform. As far as individual pictures I will ask Mr.Woods and notify you, as for now the students are to be in full dress uniform for the class picture, if your child is not wearing their uniform they may be excluded from the class picture. Phonics quiz Thursday on letter recognition and beginning letter sounds. Sight word test will be post poned until next week. No new sight words this week.

Math- Counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.

Map testing on Thursday reading and Friday on math for students in kindergarten, this exam will be taken on computers and results will be given on a later date. Next week there will be a sight word test on all the sight words given up to this point. It is imperative to make sure you are also studying at home. I have set up some assignments on pearsonrealize.com students should have completed assignments by the due date.
