Reminders
Children should be in full uniform with shoes, ties etc. It is imperative that homework is done daily and that children review their work every evening. Friday students will have a math and reading quiz based on what they have been learning thus far. Please be advised that Homework notebooks will be sent on Friday for children to practice writing the letters of the alphabet.

Reminders
Students have (Gym) Physical Ed. every Tuesday and should be in full gym uniform. Math quiz on Friday on shapes please review at home. Sight word assessment on Friday children should be able to recognize the sight words given thus far.
The supplies are given to children on a need basis and all other stuff is kept in the closet because the classroom is used during the after school program and during the weekend so we keep everything locked away to avoid loss. Pencils are generally used for the whole class. Friday children are allowed to wear dress down shorts for $1.00 donation. Girls shorts must be knee length.

Supply List for Academic Year 2013-2014

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Below please find a list of the supplies your child will need in Kindergarten for the school year.
Supply list: Please label all of your child's supplies.

2 notebooks- Please purchase them in our school supply store as the lines on these notebooks make it easier for children learning penmanship (Make sure they are the blue ones in the school supply store)
Drawing pad ( Preferably a spiral notebook, with no lines) 
6 pocket folders - Please purchase these in the school supply store as these are sturdy and more durable (Please put your child’s name on all folders)
2 packs of #2 pencils 
Sharpener
2 large erasers/ or pencil cap erasers
1 child friendly scissor
1 pencil case (Large enough to fit crayons, pencils, etc.)
2 packs of crayons
1 dry erase marker
1 pack of index cards 
6 glue sticks 
1 Activity book
 1 ream of white paper
2 boxes of Tissue
2 rolls of paper towels
2 Clorox or Lysol Disinfecting Wipes
1 Purell hand sanitizer
1 box of sandwich size Ziploc bags
1 box of Ziploc bags ( gallon size)
A change of clothes (pants, shirt, underwear and socks in case of an accident.)*Please place clothes in a large Ziploc bag and label with your child’s name*

Throughout the school year I will inform you of any supplies that we might be running out of and your donations toward classroom supplies are always welcomed and appreciated.Thank you in advance for your help. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Week of June 17- June 21

Reminders

Graduation is Thursday June 20,2013 at 11:00 am children should be here by 10:30am, the ceremony will begin promptly at 11am. Parents should pick up children's cap and gown in the tuition office, prior to the graduation all fees must be paid in full in order for your child to participate. The last day of school for kindergarten is June 19. Thank you for your support. Please make sure children review over the summer break to ensure a smooth transition into first grade.

Reminders
Friday June 14, 2013 School will be closed. Thursday June 13, 2013 children will be allowed to wear shorts as a fund raiser for Haiti a donation of $2.00 will be collected for each child, Thank you for your cooperation. As you know the school year is almost over and Graduation will be held June 20,2013 at 11:00am if you have met all your financial responsibilities then your child will be able to participate in graduation ceremony if not they will not be able to attend.
