Early Dismissal Friday November 15,2013 at 12:00 noon after school available if needed. Thanksgiving annual canned food drive, meaning we will be taking any canned food donation if you can contribute to the cause. The class with the largest contribution of canned food will win a pizza party.

Reminders
Friday November 1, 2013 no dress down clothing children should be in full uniform for Mass at 9:00 am. Tuesday October 29,2013 Reading quiz, Wednesday October 30, 2013 Math quiz. Halloween celebration will be held on Thursday October 31, 2013 parents are welcomed to join us for the parade around the school but must leave after parade. If you have not done so already please remember I will be collecting $4.00 dollars for the Halloween party, to cover costs for children to eat. Thank you for your cooperation. There will be a book fair starting Monday Oct.28 and will go through Friday Nov.1 please be aware that books price range from $3.99 to 19.99.

Reminders
Interim Assessments ELA will be given on Thursday October 10. Math Assessment will be given on Wednesday October 16, 2013. Friday October 11, 2013 Early Dismissal at 12 noon after school program will be in place parents needing after school please see Mr.Marcial. No Quizzes this week or next week. 
For Hispanic heritage I would like to include some of the students who are of Hispanic decent to give a small summary of what country they are from and some what traditions are practiced in that country are, please include what  kinds of food, dance, music, clothes etc they use. I will then gather this information to present what we have learned. This will be due no later than Wednesday.

Reminders
Mass Friday October 4, 2013, children are allowed to wear dress clothes no jeans or sneakers as they will be attending mass. Assessments will be given on Friday on both math and reading. Parents who have still not signed up with their email for the Rowland Reading program(Superkids) please see me as soon as possible to sign up, as this will help you work with your child in getting them to read by the end of the school year.
