Reminders
Graduation pictures have been rescheduled for this Friday May 16, 2014, Children should wear a dress shirt with collar in order for gowns to fit during their pictures. Tuesday May 13,2014 is our annual May procession children should have rosary beads as we will be praying the Holy Rosary. Rowland Reading progress test on computers will be given this week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday children are to practice all they have learned up to this point. (e.g. letter sound correspondence, sight words, blending, decoding and encoding words, rhyming words, word families, identifying punctuation, main characters, main idea, elements of a story etc.)

Reminders
Dismissal Thursday April 10,2014 at 12:00 noon for Parent/Teacher conference from 2:00pm thru 7:00pm sharp. Friday April11,2014 dismissal at 11:00am and there will be NO AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM please make necessary arrangements. Easter Recess begins after dismissal on April 11 and school resumes on April 28,2014. Please bring disposable shopping bags as we will packing up the children's books to store in the classroom, students will not be taking their books home. No new sight words this week, we will be reviewing all the sight words learned up to this point, I urge you to review them on the vacation as well. Students will be taking home a packet of work to do over the vacation so that they are continuing to practice skills already taught.  We are collecting canned food for the Lenten season, and we are also collecting pennies for patients for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, all until the end of this week. I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy vacation.
