Reminders
Friday January 16, 2015 school closed for a Manhattan Regional School Conference. Monday January 19, 2015 School Closed for Martin Luther King Jr. day. Progress reports were sent home last Friday, questions or concerns please make an appointment to see me. Sight Word review and assessment on Thursday. This week thursday for the long weekend, a ziplock bag will be sent home for students to practice rhyming words and the other book to begin reading independently.

Reminders

New After School Program -dismissal in main office. Please send in shopping bags with your children as we will be packing up books into the classroom closets, for winter break and clean up. On Friday December 19, 2014 we will be having lessons and carols and I would like students to wear red or green in light of the Christmas spirit and any other christmas accessories that you may want them to wear are welcomed. Have a safe and wonderful Christmas. Class resumes January 5,2015.

Thanksgiving Mass on Wednesday November 26,2014  at 9:00 am. Parents invited to join, honors awards handed out after mass.Thanksgiving is approaching and we are still collecting cans Wednesday will be the last day for can collections. I will be collecting $3.00 for the Thanksgiving party. A reminder that school we closed Thursday November 27 and Friday November 28, 2014 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. No new sight words this week just a review of all the word given up to this point. Please review with children over the break since I will not be sending any homework. Please remember children are to be in full uniform for Wednesday's Thanksgiving Mass.

Class picture day Wednesday November 19, 2014 students are to be in full uniform, shoes, sweaters, ties, etc. Friday November 21,2014 Early Dismissal at 12:00 noon for parent teacher conferences that will begin promptly at 1:00pm until 7:00pm, I will see the last parent at 6:50pm we need to finish on time due to the fact that the church has an activity. We are still collecting canned food if you are able to contribute please do, we will be accepting these donations up until Wednesday November 26,2014.
