Reminders
Wednesday October 4, Mass at 9:00am Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, blessing of the animals. Parents are welcomed to join us and bring pets, small pets like fishes, turtle etc. are allowed to bring to classroom, large pets like cats and dogs are to be brought only during mass and return home after Mass. A reminder gym uniform is to be worn on gym days Tuesdays, and Wednesdays with sneakers. Parents/guardians please remember to sign in and out your child every morning at drop off and every afternoon for pick up.

Monday September 25, 2017 early dismissal 12:00 noon, after school program available if needed. MAP testing this week, its a computer based test on basic skills on students knowledge in ELA and math, parents will receive results in a few weeks.  It is imperative to review hw daily with your child to ensure academic progress.

Reminders
This week we are in full swing. I am still missing paperwork for students in this class (emergency cards, permission to use technology etc.)  please have them back to me no later than Friday Sept. 15. Please make sure that you are signing in and signing out your child every morning at drop off and every afternoon for pick up. Mass at 9:00am on Tuesday September 12, 2017 students should be in full school uniform. Gym on Wednesday children should be in full gym uniform with sneakers on. Homework will be given Monday thru Thursday and all homework should be completed and handed in daily. Sight words given in class and as homework should be reviewed at home to ensure your child's academic success.

Reminders
All paperwork and emergency cards must be submitted no later than Monday September 11,2017. Please remember to label all of your child's things as some supplies have arrived with no names and I am unable to recall who bought what. I sent the calendar for the entire school year inside your child's hw folder, if your child did not have a folder I sent it in their book bag. I look forward to a great year working alongside your children.

Supply List 2017-2018

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Below please find a list of the supplies your child will need in Kindergarten for the school year.
Supply list:

Please label all of your child's supplies.

2 notebooks- Please purchase them in our school supply store as the lines on these notebooks make it easier for children learning penmanship (Make sure they are the blue ones in the school supply store)
6 pocket folders - Please purchase these in the school supply store as these are sturdy and more durable (Please put your child’s name on all folders)
1 draw and write journal notebook/notepad (available at staples or lakeshore)
2 packs of #2 pencils
1 large eraser/ or eraser tops
1 child friendly scissor
1 pencil case (Large enough to fit crayons, pencils, etc.)
2 packs of crayons
1 dry erase marker
1 pack of index cards
6 glue sticks
1 Activity book (No coloring books please)
2 Reams of white printing paper
2 boxes of tissue
2 Clorox or Lysol Disinfecting Wipes
1 Purell hand sanitizer
1 box of ziplock bags (gallon size)

1 box of ziplock bag (sandwich size)
A change of clothes (pants, shirt, underwear and socks in case of an accident.)*Please place clothes in a large Ziplock bag and label with your child’s name*
