Reminders
Gym will be Mondays and Wednesdays please remember to have your child in full gym uniform. This week I will be posting a link with your child's username and password for the Pearsonrealize website so that you will be able to reinforce ELA at home. I am still missing forms from parents as well as incomplete emergency cards please see me to check if all your forms have been filled out, it is imperative to have all these forms in order for your child's safety. Next week Monday September 23, will be an early dismissal day at 12:00 noon, please make arrangements.

Week of 9/5-9/6
Welcome to Kindergarten,
As many of you did attend the parent meeting, you will know that a lot of our communication will be via the blog. It is imperative for parents or guardians to check the class blog on a daily basis to stay informed of any changes that occur during the week. Physical education (gym) will be held on MONDAYS students should where full gym uniform no exceptions. I will begin giving hw next week starting Monday, please make sure to always check your child's backpack each day. Please remember to sign in and sign out your child each morning for drop-off and at dismissal during pick up. Please make sure your child is on time everyday, as it is crucial for their academic advancement. Thank you all for entrusting me with your child's academics.

Supply List 2019-2020 School Year
Dear Parent/Guardians,
Please find in the list below the supplies your child will need for the kindergarten school year.
Supply List:
1 blue notebook from the school supply store, any other notebook will not be accepted
6 pocket folders from the school supply store (any color is fine)
1 draw and write journal notebook available at staples or lakeshore
2 packs of Triconderoga pencils (thin) if child has issues with grip please purchance pencil grips
1 large eraser/ 1 pack of eraser tops
1 child friendly scissor
1 large pencil case to fit crayons, glue sticks, pencil, scissor, erasers, etc.
2 packs of crayola crayons
1 dry erase marker
1 pack of index cards
1 glue stick/ 1 small bottle of elmers glue
1 activity book (academic, skills e.g. math, reading)
2 reams of white printing paper
1 box of tissues
1 lysol or clorox dispensing wipes
1 pack of baby wipes for bottoms (flushable preferred)
1 bottle of Purell hand santizer
1 pack of gallon size ziplock bags
A change of clothes (underwear, socks, pants, and shirt in case of accident/sick) please place these clothes in a large ziplock back and label it with your child's name.
Through out the school year I will inform you of any supplies that may need to be replenished, your donations of classroom supplies are always accepted and greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. If you have any questions concerning the supplies please feel free to ask. A friendly reminder to label all of your child's belongings and supplies.

Week of 6/17-6/21
Reminders
This is the students last week of school. Wednesday students should bring shopping bags to pack up all their belongings to take home. Thursday is the students kindergarten graduation ceremony, students should be here by 9:00 am. It has truly been my pleasure teaching all of your children this school year best of luck in the next grade. Have a great summer.
There will be no new hw assignments or sight words.
As you may have received an Iris red alert about the school blog about a 12th month summer Program, in you child's hw folder will be a letter from Mr.Woods that will need to be filled out and returned tomorrow.
