Reminders

Monday March 20th school mass at 10:00 Feast of St.Joseph parents are welcomed to join us. Friday March 24th school closed, for a teacher training. Rhyming words test will be administered on Wednesday students should be able to recognize rhyming words, sight word test next week. Students will be sent home with books on Thursday they will be able to keep these books at home to practice reading fluency.

School will be closed Friday March 17th. Students should wear their gym uniform with sneakers on Thursday this week. Math quiz on Wednesday on numbers bonds and addition problems. We have run out of tissues if you haven't already, please donate a box. On another note please make sure your child has a mask daily as we are short on disposable masks too 😕.

National Barbie Day on Thursday March 9 students may wear barbie or ken or a hippie. Friday stations of the cross at 11:00am parents are welcomed to loin us. Rhyming words test Wednesday. Please make sure to check your child's google classroom, assignments have been posted and should be completed in a timely manner. Lent boxes were sent home  last week and are to be returned to school before Easter break, please give a small donation.

 Reminders

School will now dismiss at 2:45pm and dismissal will be from the outside exit door opposite of the lunchroom doors, parents should line up and will sign out there child via this exit door from my class if you have questions or concerns please ask in the morning during drop off. If your child is enrolled in title 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays your child will now be dismissed at 4:30pm from the title 1 program. Ash Wednesday Mass on Wednesday February 22nd at 10:00 am parents are welcomed to join us. Please make sure to read and check the school blog weekly for further details and updates.  It is imperative that you make sure the school has your correct phone number so you can receive the IRIS alerts pertaining to the school.

School will be closed Wednesday February 15th and Friday February 17th. Tuesday we will have a small valentine celebration during our lunch break, if you wish to donate something please let me know. Valentine's Day students may wear red or pink. The 100th day of school will be celebrated on Thursday February 16th, students may dress as if they are 100 yrs old, wear an item of clothing with 100 things or wear something that says they are celebrating 100 days of school. No new sight words this week as it will be a short week, please make sure to review all sight words given up to this point. Rhyming word assessment on Thursday Feb.17.

Friday February 10th early dismissal at 12:00 noon no after school program, parent teacher conference will be held from 1:00pm to 2:50pm in person and 3:00pm to 5:45pm via zoom. If you haven't signed up there are only two slots available for the conferences. ELA assessment on Tuesday Feb.7th students should be able to answer comprehension questions, read aloud sentences with sight words and blend sounds to read a cvc word, beginning and medial sounds, write a sentence based on the read aloud. Rhyming words assessment next week. I will be collecting donations for a small valentine celebration next week Tuesday February 14th. whatever you want to donate is fine.
