Reminders
History fair this week Thursday parents are welcomed to view from 1:30pm to 2:30. Please look at weekly vocabulary and review with your child. Please make sure your child is making an attempt in reading as this is a crucial part of them being able to move forward academically in the next grade. 
Monday - March 2nd - Dr. Seuss's Birthday Dress up celebration
Contest at 1:30 in lunchroom - parents invited.
Dress up like one of the characters in a Dr. Seuss book!

Reminders
Ash Wednesday Mass on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at 11:00am, Honors Assembly to follow. Book fair this week flyers sent home on friday. If you wish for your child to purchase a book please send at least $4.00 to $5.00 for one book. Math test Thursday please study adding. Please check your child's folder on a daily basis to check for behavior, they will now be sent home with the color card if one was not sent then it means they were on green

Reminders
Early Dismissal Friday February 13, 2015 at 12:00 noon, after school program available if needed. Children may wear red on Friday as it will be red day.  Monday February 16, 2015 School Closed for President's Day. Please remember I have been sending books every friday in a ziplock bag for children to practice reading and word families, please remember to return them every week to be provided with new books. Next week superkids dress up day Tuesday February 17,2015 children may dress up as their favorite superkids, please check online to view how they can dress.

Lesson plans 2/2-2/6

Reminders
Wednesday February 4, 2015 Parent Teacher Conference from 1:00pm to 7:00pm, DISMISSAL  at 12:00 noon after school program available if needed. I will be sending books every Friday in a ziplock bag so that children are practicing to read small decodable books. Interim Assessments this week please see school blog for the days the children will be taking the exams. For the interim review rhyming words, sight words, beginning, middle, and ending sounds for the ELA. Math review numbers, know the difference between greater or lesser quantities, numbers 1-20, addition, shapes, and other concepts learned up to this point in math.
