Add 4, students will color the cubes, and then write how many cubes all together

Students continue to add using manipulative to join groups together

Children will count and write the total number of circles in each line

Aim: Review addition readiness and writing numerals
Using manipulative students will illustrate their understanding of addition, and joining groups, followed by a worksheet on writing numerals

Aim: Review all our letters up to this point; introduce our letter of the week L
Learn the sound and words that begin with the letter L
Tuesday
Aim: Students will practice tracing the letter L, followed by an activity in our mother goose book pg.20
Wednesday
Aim: Students continue with the letter of the week, begin to practice writing the letter L in upper and lowercase, mother goose book pg. 32
Thursday
Aim: Read aloud rhyming words, letter hunt objects that begin with the letter L
Friday
Aim: Review our letter of the week, literacy activity, alphabet match, recognizing upper and lowercase L
Science
Monday
Structure and Function (Living Environment)
Aim: Students will learn to identify major structures of animals
Tuesday
Aim: Students will begin to identify animal structure by identifying what animals have legs, and which animals do not.
Wednesday
Aim: Students will place animals into number categories, according to how many legs the animals has.
Thursday
Aim: Continue animal structures, children should understand that animals use their body parts to move in different ways.

Ask students to think about their favorite animal, invite children to draw a picture showing that animal.

“Treasure your Teeth” students will learn about the proper way to keep your teeth healthy and clean

“Germ Warfare” Students will be learning how to wash their hands properly and keeping germs from spreading to others.
