Homework 2/23 thru 2/27

  • Opposites, draw a line between each picture and its opposite
  • Same and different, draw a line to show which pictures are exactly the same.

Monday
Aim: Children will be learning and discovering things we learn to do as we grow, because god gives us these gifts and capabilities.
Tuesday
Aim: Students discuss the gifts of god think about how we put our gifts of god to use.
Wednesday
Aim: Briefly discuss Lent, followed by mass in church where students will receive their ashes for Ash Wednesday.
Thursday
Aim: Children continue to learn about the endless gifts that god gives us, for e.g. the power to think and use our mind.
Friday
Aim: Students will discuss the gifts of god, followed by an activity in their workbook

Monday
Aim: Students will learn to describe attributes of objects, same and different

Aim: Students will continue to practice addition and subtraction, mid week we will review the numbers from1 through 20 by counting and practicing to write out the number

Aim: Introduce the letter of the week, continue phonemic awareness paying careful attention to words that rhyme.
Tuesday through Friday
Aim: Students will begin to practice tracing, writing the letter of the week and writing words that begin with Qq, followed by read aloud in mother goose book
