Lesson Plan 12/19-12/21

Reminders

Please send a large shopping bag or garbage bag to pack up the students belongings for the Christmas break, all the students things will remain in school but we need a large bag to place all their things in to store away. Ugly Christmas sweater on Tuesday December 20th. Lessons and Carols will be held on Wednesday December 21st at 10:00 in the church, please join us if you can. Please make sure your child is wearing Christmas attire  or red, green or white for the lessons and carols on Wednesday. No after school or title 1 program on Wednesday Dec.21

School resumes on Tuesday January 3rd 2023. On behalf of myself and Ms.Perez we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year 2023, God bless you all. Please remember to review some skills over the Christmas break especially sight words. No new sight words as this is a very short week.

Reminders

Unit 2 test in ELA students should be able to recognize sight words, comprehension, beginning letter sound and medial sounds, test will be administered on Thursday December 15th. This week I will be taking donations for the Christmas party that will be held Wednesday December 21st. You can donate a bag of chips, or cookies, but I will like to coordinate so we don't have too many things or the same things, thank you in advance. Next week we will have ugly sweater day on Tuesday December 20th and on Wednesday December 21st the students will do a carol in the church that will begin promptly at 10:00am students should wear something for Christmas or the Christmas colors of red, green, or white.

 Reminders

A gentle reminder that under New York state law students in pre-k through kindergarten must have the flu vaccine by December 1st, otherwise they will be required to stay home until proof is bought to school. Early dismissal Friday December 2nd at 12:00 noon after school program available if needed. Math test on Wednesday on 2 & 3 dimensional shapes.(Postponed TBA)

We are collecting canned goods for the less fortunate of a nursing home facility. We will be collecting the canned goods until Wednesday morning. School will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. May you all have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.

 Reminders

Early dismissal on Wednesday November 16th at 12:00 noon for parent teacher conference from 1:00pm -2:50pm in person and 3:00-6:00pm via zoom. A sheet will be attached to the sign in and sign out sheets in the morning for you to put the time slot you will like to have to meet. Please make sure you are completing work on google classroom. Friday November 18th students may wear something with Mickey or Minnie, a costume contest will be held, parents may join us for the contest at 11:00am in the cafeteria.

Tuesday November 8th students will have gym classes, please make sure your child wear their gym uniform and sneakers. School will be closed Thursday November 10th for a professional development day and Friday November 11th for Veteran's Day. No new sight words this week, I will be doing a sight word assessment beginning on Tuesday it will be an individual assessment to see what sight words the students recognize by sight.
