Aim: Children will be learning and discovering things we learn to do as we grow, because god gives us these gifts and capabilities.
Tuesday
Aim: Students discuss the gifts of god think about how we put our gifts of god to use.
Wednesday
Aim: Briefly discuss Lent, followed by mass in church where students will receive their ashes for Ash Wednesday.
Thursday
Aim: Children continue to learn about the endless gifts that god gives us, for e.g. the power to think and use our mind.
Friday
Aim: Students will discuss the gifts of god, followed by an activity in their workbook
Math
Monday
Aim: Students will learn to describe attributes of objects, same and different
Tuesday
Aim: Continue describing attributes of objects, tall and short
Wednesday
Aim: Describing attributes cont’d, big and small
Thursday
Aim: Describing attributes of objects by comparing shape
Friday
Aim: Review Describing attributes of objects
Language Arts
Monday
Aim: Students will be introduced to the letter of the week Ss, read aloud a book with words that begin with S.
Tuesday
Aim: Oral language development, students will be asked to retell the story read aloud, begin tracing Ss
Wednesday
Aim: Oral language cont’d, students will be asked to communicate what they observed in the read aloud of the day. Begin practicing to write Ss.
Thursday
Aim: Oral language cont’d, recite a rhyme, and begin to practice writing words that begin with Ss.
Friday
Aim: Review our letter of the week, be able to recognize Ss, continue oral language development by relating the read aloud to their life.
Science
Monday
Aim: Students will identify where plants and animals live
Tuesday
Aim: Students will learn about the patterns of behavior related to environment of plants, animals and humans
Wednesday
Aim: Students will learn about ecosystems and habitats of living things
Thursday
Aim: Students will le learning about the living environment and what it requires in order for survival
Friday
Aim: Students will review patterns of behavior relating to the environment
Social Studies
Monday
Aim: Students will be learning about how to take care of earth
Tuesday
Aim: Students learn the importance of caring and cleaning up the earth
Wednesday
Aim: Students will learn about pollution and ways to help reduce it helps the earth

Aim: Students learn how to recycle and how it helps the earth

Aim: Students will discuss how they plan on helping to keep the earth clean
