Reminders
Wednesday October 16 Hispanic heritage celebration students are to wear nice dress clothes, parents welcome to join us at 10:00am. Friday October 18 will be class picture day for our class only, students should wear full dress uniform. As far as individual pictures I will ask Mr.Woods and notify you, as for now the students are to be in full dress uniform for the class picture, if your child is not wearing their uniform they may be excluded from the class picture. Phonics quiz Thursday on letter recognition and beginning letter sounds. Sight word test will be post poned until next week. No new sight words this week.
This week we will learn the following concepts
Religion- The Church year( liturgical seasons that the church celebrates)
ELA- A Bed for the Winter (Pearson realize- Ready Gen)
Math- Counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Science- Taking care of your body (Hygiene)
Social Studies- Family Dynamics

Tomorrow full dress uniform boys with ties etc, girls with white button down uniform and jumper etc black shoes, bring dress clothes for individual pictures in a separate bag in their back packs.
Friday 10/18
Study all sight words given up to this point, sight word assessment next week. Children should know the words by sight not to spell them as of yet.
