Reminders
Early Dismissal Friday April 17, 2015 at 12:00 noon, after school program available if needed. Vacation homework should be turned in this week. After this week there will be four weekly sight words instead of three. Sight word test Friday, please review all sight words given up to this point.

lend-  to give something to someone to be used for a period of time and then returned
collect- to get things from a place and bring them together sometimes similar things

Mathematics
twenty- a number that is after 19 and before 21
fifty- a number that is before 51 and after 49 
tens- sets of 10 ones
ones- a set of ones that represent a single number
Science
alike- having similarities
different- not the same, something out of the ordinary, or something that is separate
baby animals- a very young animal
adult animals- an animal that is no longer a baby
Social Studies
countries- an area of land, a region
map- a representation of a particular land or sky area
world- the planet and the people that inhabit it
