Homework 12/15-12/19

  • Trace the letters, color the pictures

Monday
Aim: As we prepare for Advent we will begin to listen to the story in the bible tells s about God’s plan for Jesus to be with us on earth so that we might learn about God’s love for us.
Tuesday
Aim: In preparation of Advent we continue learning from reading the bible, the angel Gabriel was sent to tell Mary that god’s plan was for her to become the mother of god’s only son, Jesus.
Activity: Connect and color the letters of the word Mary said to God’s wonderful plan.
Wednesday
Aim: As we continue in preparation for Advent we learn that Mary and Joseph were chosen to take care of baby Jesus.
Thursday
Aim: Discuss the birth of baby Jesus, students will be asked whose birthday do we celebrate on Christmas?
Friday
Aim: Review all we learned about Advent, and discuss what words we use to celebrate Christmas.

Aim: Continue learning to add with sums to 4 and review numbers.

Aim: Continue practicing to add to sums of 4, practice writing and recognizing the numbers.

Aim: Students will work on recognizing the letter J in upper and lowercase form, learn more words with J, by building their vocabulary.
Wednesday
Aim: Students will begin tracing and sky writing the letter J. Continuing to build their vocabulary, read aloud a book.
Thursday
Aim: Students begin to practice writing the letter J inside the lines, followed by a letter hunt with objects or words that begin with J.
Friday
Aim: Review our letter of the week. Discuss that there is a beginning, middle, and end in a story. Read aloud a book of the students’ choice.

Monday
Aim: Learn to identify three of a kind, compare and sort physical attributes of animals.
View pictures of animals that are sorted by the same attributes.
Tuesday
Aim: Learn what animals are of the same kind for example birds, insects, and reptiles etc.
Class discussion on our findings, and I will be asking them what animals should be grouped together.
Wednesday
Aim: Students will identify animals by looking at their physical attributes or similarities that might point out they should be of the same kind. Looking or paying attention to animals with feathers, wings, or animals that can fly are going to help them determine whether they should be grouped together.
Thursday
Aim: Continue to identify animals of the same kind. Begin to sort animals of the same kind them on an activity page.
Friday
Aim: Review animals of the same kind and discuss what we learned this week on physical attributes.
