Lesson Plans 12/17-12/21

Reminders
Phonics quiz on Tuesday, students should know letter sound correspondence and initial, medial, and ending sounds. I am still collecting $4.00 for the class Christmas party if you haven't contributed already. Tuesday the 7th and 8th grades will have a bake sale, if you can please send your child with at least $1.00 to purchase something. I will be needing plastic bags to pack students stuff as our classroom floors will be shined and winter cleaning will take place, all materials from inside of desks and seat sacks will need to be put away in the shopping bags you provide. A short homework packet will be assigned during the christmas break. Wednesday lessons and carols in the church will be held at 8:30 am parents are invited to join us for a joyful celebration. Students should have dress clothes and should resemble Christmas colors red, green, or white. School will be closed from Dec.20 and class resumes Jan.3, 2019. I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. 


This week we will be learning the following concepts
ELA- Unit 3 Module A read aloud " The Snowy Day" by Erza Jack Keats
Math- Measurement of comparing holds more holds less using capacity
Religion- To present Jesus as the Light of the World and To tell the story of the Shepherds visit to Jesus

Write each sight word three time in hw notebook
Math worksheet lesson 12 and 13
Dress clothes tomorrow Tuesday and please don't forget to send your child with money for the 7th and 8th grade bake sale.
