Aim: Students will be learning new prayers in preparation for thanksgiving.
Read aloud and discuss form our pre school bible recite the prayer for thanksgiving

Aim: Students will recite a prayer from their religion book Discovering God’s World
Read aloud and recite the thanksgiving prayer
Wednesday
Aim: Students practice praying by giving thanks
Read aloud: All Things Bright and Beautiful book
Thursday
Aim: Students will read about Cain and Abel
Students will learn about brothers and sin Genesis 3-4
Friday
Aim: Continue reading about brothers Cain and Abel
Class discussion: Genesis 4
Math
Monday
Aim: Develop language for bigger, smaller, longer, shorter
Students circle the picture that is the same size
Tuesday
Aim: Continue developing language for smaller, bigger etc.
Activity Sheet: Super sizes draw a line between balls of the same size

Aim: Developing language continued
Activity: Circle the biggest thing; draw an X on the smallest thing
Thursday
Aim: Language development continued on small, big, etc.
Activity: Cut out the boxes, and put them in size order

Students will learn the sound of the letter H and recognize the letter Hh

Aim: Students will learn to identify words with H and students will begin to practice tracing the letter H.

Aim: Students will differentiate upper and lowercase H, continue practicing to trace the letter H
Thursday
Aim: Students will begin learning to write the letter H in uppercase and lowercase form
Practice writing H in their notebooks

Aim: Review are letter of the week letter H sound, words, tracing, writing, and recognizing the letter H in upper and lowercase

Aim: Students will draw what they discussed the previous day about their favorite place in the community
Class activity: draw and color their favorite place in their community

Aim: Review the community in terms of familiarity and what they like most about their community.
