Religion
Monday
Aim: Students will be learning about the concept of saints, read aloud Our Lady Queen of saints’ pg. 11
Tuesday
Aim: Continue learning about saints, read aloud St. Patrick pg.24
Wednesday
Aim: Saints cont’d read aloud St. Christopher
Thursday
Aim: Learn more of the bible stories, read aloud “Baby Moses” pg.43
Friday
Aim: Continue learning bible stories, read aloud “The Child Samuel” pg. 84

Math
Monday
Aim: Emphasize mathematics, reintroduce patterns, ask the student what they can recall about patterns.
Tuesday
Aim: Continue patterns, students’ objective is to describe and predict color patterns
Wednesday
Aim: identify, extend, describe and predict shape patterns.
Thursday
Aim: Identify, extend, describe and predict number patterns.
Friday
Aim: Students will learn to make color patterns and shape patterns on their own.

Language Arts
Monday
Aim: Phonemic Awareness, rhyming words. Introduce the letter of the week Uu
Tuesday
Aim: Read aloud, students will explain picture illustrations from the read aloud, begin to practice tracing Uu.
Wednesday
Aim: Mother Goose book read aloud directions, have the students repeat the directions before we begin the activity, this will show their comprehension skills.
Thursday
Aim: Students will think about words that begin with Uu begin writing words that begin with Uu, learn to recognize its sound and upper from lowercase.
Friday
Aim: Review our letter of the week Uu, read aloud a book about Uu, discuss “What was this story about?”

Science
Monday
Aim: Students will learn patterns of behavior related to environment
Tuesday
Aim: Learn that animals behave accordingly to their environment, if this state of environment is altered, what does this mean for the animals who habitat there?
Wednesday
Aim: Observe how animals behave when they are removed from their normal habitat, do they adjust?
Thursday
Aim: Students will describe the difference in animals when the environment is different.
Friday
Aim: Review animals and their environment


Social Studies
Monday
Aim: learn about ten symbols of St. Patrick’s Day
Tuesday
Aim: St. Patrick’s Day, learn why we celebrate this day
Wednesday
Aim: Read aloud a poem for St. Patrick’s day, what did the poem refer to?
Thursday
Aim: Read aloud a book relating to the theme of St. Patrick’s day
Friday
Aim: Finish theme on St Patrick’s day, discuss what we’ve learned, questions and answers
