Lesson Plan 3/2 thru 3/6

Religion
Monday
Aim: Students will be learning about stories in the bible, they will learn about Noah’s ark followed by an activity coloring page.
Tuesday
Aim: Students will be learning about The Rainbow… God’s Promise (Genesis 9: 13,15)
Wednesday
Aim: Students will be learning about Blessing from god, look at the many blessings god has given us.
Thursday
Aim: Students will be learning about different saints
Friday
Aim: Saints continued

Math
Monday
Aim: Students will begin to use and understand the terms first and last
Progress in mathematics workbook
Tuesday
Aim: Continue to use and understand the terms first and last
Progress in mathematics workbook
Wednesday
Aim: Review using and understanding the terms first and last
Workbook
Thursday
Aim: Students will be using their counting skills to formulate problems and solutions, for e.g. counting the number if students in the class
Friday
Aim: Continue using counting skills and learn to develop skills to formulate problems and solutions in everyday situations

Language Arts
Monday
Aim: Students will be learning new vocabulary based on the books read aloud, introduce the letter of the week Tt
Tuesday
Aim: Phonemic Awareness with rhyming words, begin to practice tracing the letter Tt, and recognize its shape
Wednesday
Aim: Comprehension; students will identify and discuss a character in our read aloud story
Thursday
Aim: Continue comprehension, vocabulary and phonemic awareness based on the book read aloud, practice writing the letter of the week Tt
Friday
Aim: Students will review the letter Tt, recognize and print words that begin with the letter Tt

Science
Monday thru Friday
Students will be learning about organisms and their environment; food chains and web, based on a system, order, and organization
Students will learn what organisms are, learn about their environment and learn what the terms food chain and web are, they will learn how this is a system, order, and organization based on the scientific evidence.

Social Studies
Monday
Aim: Students will be discovering the essentials of learning life skills, learn what it means to have life skills
Tuesday
Aim: Life skills and the responsibilities of taking care of a pet
Wednesday
Aim: Students continue learning about life skills and how as you grow up you begin to learn about housekeeping chores done indoors.
Thursday
Aim: Life skills cont’d housekeeping chores done outside of the home for e.g. running an errand
Friday
Aim: Students will review the life skills learned and what they already are responsible to know or do at home.
