Religion
Monday
Aim: To help children appreciate that the stories we read in the bible tell us about Jesus Christ, the son of God.

Tuesday
Aim: To provide early learning experiences for the children’s appreciation of the bible

Wednesday
Aim: Discover that god gives us families that love and care for us.
Thank god for our families
Thursday
Aim: Identify the different things they see in church
Thank god for beautiful churches
Friday
Aim: Discover that a part of growing up is learning to help others as god wants them to

Math
Monday
Aim: Observing and continuing patterns; visual memory
Tuesday
Aim: Look at the pattern and finish the shape pattern.
Wednesday
Aim: Counting
Count the objects in each group, and then write the number that shows how many
Thursday
Aim: Counting cont’d
Count and circle to show the number at the beginning of each row
Friday
Aim: Continue counting
Count from 1 to 20, write the missing numbers

Language Arts
Monday
Aim: Auditory and visual discrimination; recognizing beginning sounds and their symbols.
Tuesday
Aim: Say the name of each picture; listen to the first sound, then circle the letters with that sound.
Wednesday
Aim: Draw a line to match the things that begin with the same sound.
Thursday
Aim: Cross out the things that do not begin with the P sound.
Friday
Aim: Circle the thing in each row that begins with the same sound as the first one.

Science
Monday
Aim: Understanding where food comes from
Match the pieces together to show where that food came from
Tuesday
Aim: understanding where food comes cont’d
Draw a line to match food with its origin
Wednesday
Aim: Explain that grains are types of grasses that grow in different parts of the world
Thursday
Aim: Describe how plants and animals give humans food, shelter, clothing and medicine.
Friday
Aim: Identify how humans get the food they eat. For example hunting, gathering, purchasing, farming etc. Does it depend on the environment they live in which affects the way humans obtain their food?

Social Studies
Monday thru Friday
Aim: Students will listen and observe the lives of children in other places
Read aloud Dandelion, retell the story, and compare them to the types of houses children live in today.
Discuss other books read about the differences in older times and the way people live now.
